Caregiver Nova Leap Home Health Holyoke Granby, MA 01033 Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care and companionship. This position requires a strong commitment to patient well-being and the ability to work effectively in various settings, including home care and assisted living environments. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Observe and report any changes in clients’ conditions or behaviors to healthcare professionals. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Assist with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary. Support clients with transportation to appointments or social outings. Experience Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or assisted living is preferred but not required. Familiarity with medication administration and basic first aid is advantageous. Background in social work or nursing can be beneficial for understanding client needs. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including heavy lifting when required.
