In Home Caregiver Nova Leap Home Health Holyoke Granby, MA 01033 Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of seniors and those with special needs. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for your clients by assisting them with daily activities and providing companionship. •Must have a drivers license and reliable transportation• Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide support with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Help clients with meal preparation and medication reminders. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Foster a supportive relationship with clients, including those with autism or other special needs, while respecting their dignity and privacy. Requirements Previous experience in senior care or home health is preferred. Knowledge of CPR and first aid is advantageous. Familiarity with assisted living environments is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality. A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
