Pay:

$20 – $23 (Pay differentials applied for MAP and/or CNA certifications, and for Weekend shifts) Benefits Up to 4 weeks of combined vacation, personal, and cultural time. 12 paid holidays + up to 2 weeks of sick time. 403(b) retirement plan with discretionary match. Join a team that celebrates differences and empowers growth. Job Summary As a Residential Counselor, you will support individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities in a home setting. Help them build independence, develop life skills, and engage meaningfully with their community. Responsibilities Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, mobility, hygiene). Support daily living tasks (cooking, cleaning, shopping, money management). Encourage independence and self-advocacy. Facilitate community involvement and relationships. Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and behavioral supports. Administer medications per MAP guidelines. Provide transportation to appointments, programs, and social activities. Communicate using tools suited to individual needs (email, tablets, letter boards). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. CNA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Ability to lift 25-75 lbs and perform physical tasks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office). BAMSI conducts as needed, job-related background checks (may include, but is not limited to, fingerprints, drug testing, TB testing, verification of employment history and/or reference checks) prior to employment.
