As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personal care and companionship. This position requires a strong commitment to patient well-being and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including those with dementia and autism. •Must have a drivers license and reliable transportation• Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide medication administration as prescribed, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations. Conduct patient observation to monitor health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals. Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including memory care strategies for clients with dementia. Support individuals with autism through direct support techniques that promote independence and social skills. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with patient observation practices and medication administration protocols. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality. Ability to provide compassionate care while respecting the dignity of each individual. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
