Caregiver (Weekly Pay) Nova Leap Home Health Wareham, MA 02571 Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance within their homes or community settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, respect for resident rights, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Duties Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Observe and report any changes in the patient’s condition or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Assist residents with mobility and transportation needs within the home or community. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents by performing light housekeeping tasks. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs. Support residents with dementia care, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being. Uphold resident rights by promoting dignity, respect, and independence in all interactions. Qualifications Previous experience in patient care or caregiving is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of home community care practices is an advantage. Familiarity with group home settings is beneficial. Strong observational skills to monitor patient health and behavior effectively. Ability to prepare meals that meet nutritional guidelines. Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with residents and their families. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting resident rights at all times.
