Req #: 23697 For a limited time Southern Maine Healthcare is offering a $500.00 sign on bonusfor Companion Sitters•Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Companion/Sitter position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment ~ 32 Hours a week, Evening Shift, with weekend/holiday rotations~
Evening Shift Hours:
2:45 pm to 11:15 pm This uniquely fulfilling position supports the unit and staff by providing observational support for patients thatneed eyes on support, as well as support to patients through hands-off direct, one on one engagement.
Summary:
The Bedside Companion – Acute Care role provides supervision and close observation of selected patients for identified behaviors. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications:

Experience:
Relevant experience preferred.
