royal comfort care is a compassionate senior care provider in Saint Joseph, Missouri , is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Caregiver to join our team. As a Lead Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our senior residents while supervising and guiding a team of caregivers. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our senior community members.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and assistance to senior residents, including but not limited to personal hygiene, mobility support, medication reminders, meal preparation, and companionship. Serve as a role model and mentor to caregivers, offering guidance, support, and training as needed. Coordinate and assign caregiving duties to ensure optimal care and efficient operation of daily activities. Conduct regular assessments and observations of residents to monitor their well-being and report any changes to the management team. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care, activities, and incidents as required. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Foster a warm, respectful, and engaging environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of our residents. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a safe and secure living environment for residents and staff. Dispense Medications.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare or a related field is a plus. Proven experience as a caregiver, preferably in a senior care or assisted living setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members. Empathy, patience, and compassion in caring for seniors with diverse needs and backgrounds. Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques, safety practices, and infection control protocols. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
