Compassionate Care Provider

As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals in need. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others and contribute to their overall well-being.

Duties:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with diverse needs
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times
• Respect and uphold the rights of individuals in your care
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for residents
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses and hospice care providers, to ensure comprehensive care

Skills:

• CNA certification
• Experience in patient care or senior care is preferred
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols
• First aid certification is a plus
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
