Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring any changes in health status are reported promptly. Provide direct support to clients with mobility challenges, including lifting and transferring as needed. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including those related to dementia care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy. Administer first aid when necessary and respond appropriately in emergency situations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Requirements Proven experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Strong skills in patient observation and the ability to recognize changes in client conditions. Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and basic first aid techniques. Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable. Ability to provide direct support while maintaining dignity and respect for clients. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards clients. Must be able to lift and assist clients as required for their safety and comfort.
