Position Description:
The Care Companion reports to the Field Team Manager or Inpatient Manager. In collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team and under the direction of the Registered Nurse and the Licensed Practical Nurse, the Care Companion is responsible for providing support to patients and families in a variety of ways based on the patient’s individualized plan of care and in accordance with agency policies. Following Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age. Willing to complete formal CNA training at an accredited institution covered by KCH&PC tuition assistance. Licensed driver with reliable transportation and auto insurance. CPR certification required. May obtain after hire.
