In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with physical and mentally disabilities. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their independence in a group home setting. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming. Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Monitor and document vital signs and overall health status of clients. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their well-being. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all areas are tidy and organized. Administer first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations. Support clients in developing skills for independence and self-care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Experience Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience: CPR and first Aid but not required, will provide. Med Level 1 class, not required, will provide. Familiarity with patient monitoring practices and vital signs assessment. Previous experience in a group home or similar caregiving environment is preferred.
