Caregiver Suspire Home Care Rolla, MO 65401 Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers, or those pursing a career in caregiving to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will work closely with clients in their homes or community settings, ensuring their comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including helping clients move around their home or community. Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment. Support clients in engaging in social activities and hobbies. Document care provided and any changes in client condition accurately. Skills Experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required: We offer paid training with certification after completion through the National Caregiver Association. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to specific dietary requirements. Familiarity with nursing home environments or home health settings is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various care settings, including hospice care.
