Responsibilities Provide compassionate care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions through patient observation. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs. Assist clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or disabilities, adapting approaches as necessary. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client progress and concerns. Experience Prior experience in senior care, long-term care, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus. Knowledge of patient observation practices and first aid is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
