We are currently seeking individuals who are energetic and compassionate team players and motivators for direct support positions at all of our locations. Each position at South Mississippi Regional Center is an important and impactful role that provides our individuals with the appropriate level of care to meet their social, emotional, physical, and personal needs. (73986) About the Position This is semi-skilled level work in the care and supervision of clients at a state mental health facility. Employees assist residents in all areas of physical care and assume total responsibility for the hygiene of clients who are unable to independently perform such tasks. Other duties include general housekeeping assignments, participating in social and recreational activities for the residents, and writing nontechnical reports on consumer behavior and activity. General supervision is received from a Support Care Professional Team Lead, shift leader, or nursing supervisor; supervisory responsibilities are not assigned to positions allocated to this Job Class. Other duties may apply as assigned.

- 1st shift: 6:00 A.M.
- 2:30 P.M. ($12.68)
- 2nd shift: 2:00 P.M.
- 10:30 P.M. Plus 10% Shift Differential ($13.95)
- 3rd shift: 10:00 P.M.
- 6:30 A.
M. Plus 15% Shift Differential ($14.58)
