Job Summary The Caregiver is a person who provides support, assistance withpersonal hygiene and household functions for an individual to beable to remain in their own home. Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities Reports observations of the client’s condition to the AgencyDirector or accounts manager. Notifies the Agency Directorimmediately if any incidents or accidents occur. Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears aseat belt when business travel is required. May provide or assist clients with activities of daily livingincluding: bathing in bed, tub or shower; care of hair includingshampoo, combing and brushing; care of teeth and mouth includingdenture care; nail care, filing only; skin care including pericareand applying lotion; transfer of patient from bed to chair and towheelchair. Transfer of patients on and off bedpan, commode andtoilet. Assists with household tasks directly essential to clientspersonal care. Experience Desired Prior experience in home care preferred. Successful completion of a competency evaluation. License Requirements Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance and access to adependable vehicle or public transportation.
