Caregiver AAA Advantage Home Care Macon, MO Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering personal care, companionship, and support in various settings such as homes, nursing homes, or group homes. Your commitment to providing compassionate care will make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and grooming. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Support clients with mobility and physical tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary. Administer medication reminders and assist with basic health monitoring as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document client progress and communicate any changes in health or behavior to appropriate personnel. Offer direct support to individuals with memory care needs or those requiring specialized assistance. Experience Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or direct support roles is preferred. Familiarity with nursing home or memory care environments is a plus. Skills in social work or related fields can enhance your ability to connect with clients effectively. A strong understanding of the importance of empathy and patience when working with diverse populations.
