Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable non-medical caregiver to provide in-home support for seniors or individuals with disabilities. The caregiver will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment—without providing any medical care. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and meaningful activities Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences Light housekeeping, including laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up Assist with mobility and transfers (e.g., from bed to chair) as needed Monitor and report changes in client behavior or condition Remind clients to take medications (no administration of medication) Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social outings (if applicable) Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, healthy environment Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred 2 years of previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred Reliable, patient, and trustworthy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background checks and drug screening If you are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and want to join a team dedicated to providing exceptional home care, we invite you to apply today at Griswold!
