Caregiver Job Responsibilities:
Provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes Assist seniors with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene Encourage seniors to try new things and stay active with activities based on their abilities Establish and maintain open communication and loyal relationships with seniors, family members and co-workers Strive to create a positive atmosphere built on trust and respect
Caregiver Job Requirements:
HHA, PCA, or CNA license or at least one year of professional caregiving experience Hands-on experience with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Valid Driver’s License, Automobile Insurance, and reliable vehicle required Open availability strongly preferred Submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record Must consent to being fingerprinted and listed on The Illinois Department of Public Health home care registry Comfort Keepers is strongly considering candidates with experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, or similar positions.
