Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing personalized care plans. Assist with memory care activities to enhance cognitive function and recall. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all areas are tidy and free from hazards. Monitor vital signs as needed and report any significant changes to healthcare professionals. Provide first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies. Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus. Familiarity with assisted living environments and memory care practices is advantageous. Ability to prepare meals that meet specific dietary needs. Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic living space for clients. Certification in first aid or CPR is desirable. Experience working with people with disabilities is beneficial. Ability to take vital signs accurately and report findings effectively. Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
