As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being. Responsibilities Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication administration protocols. Maintain accurate records of resident care and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate staff members. Uphold resident rights and dignity while fostering a respectful and supportive environment. Assist with case management tasks by collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Ensure a clean and safe living environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Requirements Previous experience in nursing home or senior care settings is preferred. Familiarity with memory care practices and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
