Home Health Caregiver In Loving Hands Home Care Greensboro, NC 27401 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly with seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalized care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities. Responsibilities Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Assist with mobility and physical exercises to promote independence. Observe and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations regarding privacy and confidentiality. Support clients with memory care strategies to enhance cognitive function and daily living skills. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of patient care techniques, including CPR certification is a plus. Familiarity with medication administration protocols. Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families. Ability to perform patient observation effectively, noting any changes that may require attention. A caring attitude toward seniors and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
