Full Job Description Job Overview:

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services offer companionship for seniors who wish to remain active and independent from the comfort of home. We’re looking to add to our team of caregivers and are searching for mature and compassionate individuals to assist seniors in the community. What do we look for in a caregiver? A passion for helping seniors in the community who continue to live independently. Prior caregiving experience for seniors. Our caregivers should encompass the following traits: Can relate to the aging process, helping those we serve navigate the challenges that growing older can bring Enjoys helping others Compassionate and empathetic to the needs of the senior community Willing to share life stories, interests, and hobbies with a senior companion What we offer: Starting wage of $15 per hour Paid training for newly hired employees Flexible schedules from 3 hours up to 35+ hours per week Continuing education opportunities and fun networking/social events An interesting and diverse client base and a friendly group of peers to work with Minimum requirements: Older adult with 20+ years of life experience Driver’s license and insured auto (our clients are not accessible by public transportation) Cell phone & Personal email account and ability to send/receive emails Conversational English fluency Weekend availability a plus (in addition to weekdays) Live preferably in and around uptown / Huntersville, NC for easy access to our clients

General In-Home Care Responsibilities may include: Companionship Shopping/errands Cooking a meal Pet care Minor housekeeping Transportation and more.

Personal-Care Responsibilities may include:

Incontinence Memory Care Other Responsibilities:
