The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing sales while maintaining current sales & profits from existing accounts. A significant focus will be on identifying new opportunities & expanding sales, indirectly managing development of new products and improving the relationship of assigned customers while achieving company objectives. Develops marketing strategies, business plans, and new product strategies for assigned customers. Maintains constant contact with customers to ensure their needs are met.

Responsibilities:

Identifying customer opportunities and pursuing commercialization resulting in positive business growth. Establishes and grows effective customer work relationships that are based on openness, honesty, and trust. Meets or exceed Magnera budgeted revenue and profitability for assigned customers/markets. Meets or exceed customer expectations for product reliability, service, and responsiveness for assigned accounts. Leverages success across new and other customers within the market segment Works with assigned customers to facilitate the day-to-day business including information requests, pricing updates, review of quality complaints/corrective actions, regulatory requests, shipment and delivery timing/improvements, and coordinate getting information to the plants Interfaces with Product Development to transmit required product attributes and provide support during product development process. Negotiates pricing, volume, and terms with customers that maximize company financial and strategic objectives. Provides information needed for accurate volume forecasts and sales to Magnera Finance, Logistics, and Manufacturing to support capacity planning and line scheduling processes. Effectively interfaces with customers and brokers to strengthen Magnera relationship and supply position. Ensures that perceived and potential customer needs are met or exceeded. Develops annual sales and expense budget and sales forecasts. Understands and determines product pricing based on product value proposition and market pricing. Demonstrated negotiation skills with ability to close deals. Able to co-manage new product development efforts in coordination with customers and internal resources. Reacts effectively to market pricing actions and competitive threats. Able to perform cost benefit analyses and make decisions, set priorities, or choose goals on the basis of inputs and outputs. Prepares timely sales reports, teleconferencing notes, weekly reports, loads and updates projects into CRM.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales and Marketing or equivalent degree. Minimum of 3 years of experiences working in Sales/Marketing management required, preferably in a manufacturing environment, preferably within personal care products. Non-woven background is preferred. Experience working in systems (i.e. CRM, ERP, Sales Forecasting) Proficient in Power Point, Word and Excel
