Job Overview:
We are seeking a caring and reliable Community Living Support Specialist to assist a client with IDD in their home. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping others and committed to supporting the client with everyday tasks that promote independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene Support the client in developing and maintaining daily routines Engage the client in recreational activities and community involvement Help manage household tasks, including shopping and laundry Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with transportation to appointments and community events Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities and progress Communicate effectively with the client, their family, and the support team
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday 2:15p – 8:15p
Requirements:
Must be dependable with a good work ethic. Must have a reliable vehicle and safe driving record. Must have a valid drivers license and state minimum auto insurance. Background checks will be performed on all applicants.

We provide a variety of different services including day programs, group homes, community services, and more! Our direct care staff provides habilitative services aimed at providing care and guidance to our clients to help them learn, retain, and improve their skills! About This Position (Habilitation Technician): All trainings will be provided by A Caring Heart. Habilitative services provide instruction to individuals to help them learn, retain, or improve skills for maximal functioning. Skill building focuses on self-care, household maintenance, social and communication skills, money management, social and community inclusion, mobility employment, and self-regulation. Services will be provided in the home, community and day program.
