Job Summary:
The Director of In-Home Care plays a vital leadership role in ensuring high-quality, client-centered care by overseeing caregiver scheduling, onboarding, and ongoing support. This position is responsible for implementing staff retention strategies, coordinating client-caregiver matches, maintaining compliance with certifications, and participating in on-call rotations to ensure continuity of care. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, this role actively supports grassroots marketing initiatives, promotes the agency within the community, and identifies opportunities to expand client reach. This dual-focused role requires a blend of operational excellence and community engagement, including conducting home consultations, placing promotional materials, and representing SYNERGY HomeCare at events. The Director of In- Home Care collaborates closely with both internal leadership and external partners to support strategic growth and uphold SYNERGY HomeCare’s commitment to compassionate, dependable service.
Qualifications:
Minimum Age of 21 Must be able to pass a Background Check and lawfully authorized to work in the U.S.
A valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Willing to work in office – Will be evaluated to be a hybrid role after 120 days.

Leadership skills, human relations abilities, customer satisfaction skills, and organizational skills.
Skills:
Experience in handling dynamic scheduling needs across multiple personnel while maintaining high service standards.
While we prefer candidates with a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or higher-level qualification, it is not a requirement for the position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Implement strategies for staff retention and engagement Schedule caregivers with clients and communicate to all parties
Respond to questions regarding client and caregiver schedules
Document skills and attributes of caregivers to ensure strong matching to clients
Ability to go into clients’ homes in the absence or inability to schedule a caregiver to ensure continuity of care and address any urgent needs
Maintain and organize tracking of employee certifications
Onboard employees in software systems and provide training as needed
Participating in on-call rotations with other staff members and providing backup support as needed, including evenings and weekends
Establish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers, while maintaining confidentiality of all information
Collaborate with the Community Assessment Coordinator to identify and execute grassroots marketing strategies throughout the community
Identify and target a minimum of three (3) new prospective clients each month and complete in-person home consultations as needed
Place branded yard signs in designated neighborhoods and locations to increase local awareness
Drop off brochures, flyers, and promotional materials at community locations such as waiting rooms, senior centers, clinics, and partner organizations
Represent SYNERGY HomeCare at community events, health fairs, and resource expos to promote awareness of home care services
Participate in both hiring and non-hiring community outreach opportunities such as networking events to strengthen the agency’s visibility and presence
Provide feedback to the Executive Team on outreach outcomes and community engagement opportunities to support strategic planning

The associate is occasionally required to swim, use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
