This dual role is a full-time position involves traveling to various locations and providing Personal Care Worker (PCW) duties as well assisting with basic office support as needed. The ideal candidate will be organized, compassionate, and able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Duties Personal Care Worker Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Monitor and document vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are reported to healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort during movement. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks. Support clients in memory care or hospice care settings, respecting resident rights and individual needs. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client. Office Assistant Duties
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
- Greet and assist visitors and clients
- Maintain organized filing systems (paper and electronic)
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Support administrative staff as needed
- Perform general clerical tasks such as copying, scanning, and faxing Qualifications Previous experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment is beneficial. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and resident rights is essential for maintaining client confidentiality. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. A clean background check is required prior to employment.
