Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Dual Language Caregiver ( English/Spanish) to join our team in Rocky Point, NC.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED Bilingual (English/Haitian Creole) required Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or state equivalency Bilingual (English/Spanish or Creole, as applicable) required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with individuals of diverse background
Responsibilities:
Follow policies, procedures and guidelines described in ECMHSP content area manuals, Child Care Licensing and OHS Requirements. Adhere to and practice ECMHSP Positive Guidance Policy. Closely supervise and maintain awareness of children at all times. Under the guidance of the teacher/teacher assistant, use ECMHSP School Readiness goals to plan and implement curriculum activities and experiences for children daily on the appropriate lesson plan. Assist teacher/teacher assistant with writing developmentally appropriate observations to assess children’s development according to timelines.
