Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules. Maintain accurate medical documentation regarding patient care and progress. Employ aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure a safe environment for clients. Support patients with mobility challenges, including lifting and transferring as necessary. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to healthcare professionals. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of clients. Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide care for individuals with acute conditions or chronic illnesses, ensuring comfort and dignity. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or personal care assistance is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with geriatrics and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Knowledge of basic life support techniques is beneficial for ensuring patient safety. Understanding of medical documentation practices and medication administration protocols is essential.
