This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly seniors and those with specific health challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of long-term care and be skilled in various aspects of personal care. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment. Help clients with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying them to appointments or social activities. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health plans. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and physical well-being. Experience Previous experience in long-term care, senior care, or home care is preferred. Familiarity with dementia care and behavioral health practices is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to understand healthcare documentation is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
