Are you seeking an opportunity to give back to your community and to make a difference in someone’s life? •Current immediate Daytime & Overnight need in Bedford•We’re seeking a home health aide who loves the challenge of working with an advanced Dementia client that has the sweetest dog you’ve ever seen and is seeking someone to watch the Catholic channel with her talk about God! Between God and her dog, these are two things that make redirecting the easiest and she’d love to engage with you over these topics 7a-7p or 7p-7a several days throughout the week! We specialize in finding the right case in the right location and are happy to accommodate your needs! If you like short shifts like 9a-1p M-F or cases with longer shifts like a 7a-7p, we have a ton of hours within 30 min. of Manchester!!! P/T or F/T hours are available and we’ll ensure your application is handled quickly. Right at Home Southern NH, the only nurse-owned agency in NH, has been awarded provider of choice four years running now by both our clients and caregivers. We are rapidly growing and have a number of opportunities to work with aging adults in your area to provide assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting and companionship. Although we are happy to train new hires, our Dementia and Total Care clients would require previous experience in order to start immediately on those cases.

Caregiver Requirements:

Have a valid driver’s license and use of an automobile for work or access to adequate transportation Willing to travel up to 30 minutes. 18 years old minimum. Must be comfortable with housekeeping, companionship, and light personal care. Able to lift 10-50/lb. Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job Must pass pre-employment background checks, health and drug screenings, and professional reference checks. Bonus points if you have one of the following: LNA, Caregiving or Healthcare experience

Pay :

$17.00/$18.00 per hour weekdays and $19.00/$20.00 per hour weekends depending on experience.

A TYPICAL DAY AS A CAREGIVER

Caregivers provide personal care for their clients. – This could include (but is not limited to): Light Housekeeping – mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dishes, taking out the garbage. Assisting with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair) Assist with everyday living tasks (moving, meal preparation, eating, dressing, shaving) Provide Companionship to your client (this may include running errands and/or providing transportation to appointments, grocery store runs, or just to get some fresh air). Play games and engage with your client. Make a difference, develop meaningful relationships, and meet new people. Give back to those who need you most (our clients need you now more than ever before)!
