PCA/LNA Rose Haven At Merrimack Merrimack, NH 03054 Nursing Assistant Job Description Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PCA or Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to patients in a small family oriented Assisted Living facility. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting with daily living activities, laundry, leading activity groups, assist with serving meals and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for those in your care. Ideal candidates will possess experience with elders, have common sense, ability to take simple direction, exhibit flexibility, willingness to learn and have the ability to work as a team with others. Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Provide emotional support and companionship to the residents when needed. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Assist with group activities. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding resident status and needs. Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with established systems. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and education. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred. Experience in memory care or long-term care settings is highly desirable. Ability to provide compassionate care to patients with diverse needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods pf time.
