The ideal candidate will have experience in memory care, hospice, or nursing home settings and will be responsible for supporting the non-medical needs of our residents. As a Licensed Homemaker, you will help create a nurturing, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life for those in your care. Key Responsibilities Provide non-medical care and companionship to residents in a home-like setting. Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and personal hygiene. Support residents with memory care needs through compassionate interaction and appropriate engagement. Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to appropriate team members. Maintain accurate documentation and records of care activities. Foster a warm and respectful environment that encourages resident independence. Collaborate with other caregiving staff to ensure a consistent, high standard of care. Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and state regulations. Qualifications Valid Homemaker License in accordance with state or local requirements. Previous experience in home care, hospice, or long-term care settings preferred. Knowledge of memory care and end-of-life support practices highly desirable. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire). Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
