This position requires an individual who is highly motivated, results driven, and able to develop and build strong, lasting relationships.

This role is out in the field marketing 70% of the time. (This is not a remote position). Referral bonus

Responsibilities:

Develop and generate relationships with home care referral sources and prospective clients such as physicians, hospitals, and skilled nursing, rehabilitation and assisted living facilities, to growand increase sales Review client referrals, discuss homecare options with clients and family members to reach a beneficial decision for their needs, and coordinate admissions with our internal interdisciplinary clinical team Create and implement account development strategies to target, nurture and grow accounts Prepare and conduct educational sales presentations to organizations and community resources with access to prospective home care and/or hospice clients Track and report all prospecting, account development, referral and sales activity Meet with operational managers to monitor customer service levels and review target accounts Pre-plans weekly sales activities, creates opportunities for communication with referral sources, and maintains all sales activity in a Customer Relationship Manager database. Support business development activities and help establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources.

Desired Qualifications:

The ideal candidate has formal sales training and a successful sales track record in increasing market share and has prior experience working in the home care or healthcare industries. Existing relationships in the community is required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least three years of healthcare-related sales experience; Prior relationships with potential referral sources, such as hospitals, ALFs, doctor offices and other referral sources in Northern, NJ Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with referral sources and clients; Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment; Strong oral and written communication skills; Proven ability to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan. Evidence of achieving referral goals within the market. Excellent planning, organization and presentation skills are critical. The ideal candidate will have established healthcare contacts and be able to readily network in the community.
