In Home Caregiver In Home Care Olean, NY 14760 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to an elderly individual in their home. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role involves delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for clients in a comfortable home environment. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients’ health conditions. Assist with mobility and physical exercises to promote physical health. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Document care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to family members Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Experience Previous experience in home care, senior care, hospice care, or direct support is preferred. Familiarity with long-term care practices and patient care techniques is advantageous. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and dementia is a plus. Knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial. A compassionate demeanor and strong communication skills are essential for building trust with clients.
