The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role involves working closely with clients who may have varying needs, including those requiring assistance with daily living activities and specialized care. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing Assist clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients’ dietary requirements. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Assist clients with disabilities in daily tasks, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as necessary. Experience Previous experience in patient care or as a caregiver is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with assisted living environments or working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and the ability to perform basic health assessments is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. A caring attitude combined with patience and empathy towards individuals in need of assistance. May need to transport patient(s) to and from appointments as needed.
