Private Duty Caregiver Position Available In Herkimer, New York

Private Duty Caregiver Elder Care Registry NY West Winfield, NY 13491 Seeking reliable experienced caregivers to join our team! 4 hour shift (4p-8p) once a week and as needed for appointments

Duties:

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

Skills/Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience in senior care, hospice care, or assisted living is required
• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and medical terminology is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and empathy
• Knowledge of social work principles and techniques is beneficial
