This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly within assisted living and senior care environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of patient care, including experience in infectious disease care and familiarity with medical office systems. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing to ensure comfort and dignity. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Monitor and document changes in clients’ health status, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with mobility and transportation. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to infection control protocols. Uphold client confidentiality by following HIPAA regulations and best practices in patient care. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care tailored to individual needs. Qualifications Previous experience in personal care assistance or related fields such as senior care or ICU is preferred. Knowledge of medical office systems, including Epic, is a plus. Familiarity with phlebotomy techniques is advantageous but not required. Strong understanding of infectious disease care protocols. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
