Account Executive – Personal Care Products
Our client, a fast-growing beauty and personal care brand, is seeking a motivated Sales Account Executive to join their team in NYC. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in wholesale sales who thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
You’ll be responsible for managing and growing key retail relationships, driving revenue, and ensuring smooth execution across accounts. The ideal candidate has experience working with major wholesalers and is skilled at blending sales strategy with execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage relationships with major wholesale and off-price retailers (e.g., TJ Maxx, Ross, Burlington).
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and account growth.
Track sales performance and maintain accurate reporting and forecasting.
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Present product lines, negotiate terms, and manage sell-in and sell-through.
Stay current with market trends and competitive activity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on launches, promotions, and logistics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of wholesale sales experience, preferably in beauty or consumer goods.
Prior experience managing off-price retailer accounts required.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.
Comfortable using data to drive sales strategy and decisions.
