Inpatient Minimum Qualifications:

1. A High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma or similar equivalency such as a General Education Development Certification or higher degree; and two years of full-time direct patient care experience working in a health care, behavioral health, corrections, or juvenile justice setting/program. OR 2. An associate’s degree and one year of full-time direct patient care experience working in a health care, behavioral health, corrections or juvenile justice setting/program. OR 3. A bachelor’s degree.

In addition:

1. You must be able to communicate and follow oral and written instructions and directions in English in order to perform the duties of the position. 2. License Requirement:

Job Duties:

A Security Hospital Treatment Assistant will perform a variety of tasks related to care, engagement, treatment, education, recovery, safety, and security of individuals with mental illness in forensic hospitals and units operated my OMH, including: Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans Interact with patients and observe and progress and responses to treatment Assist and instruct patients in attending to person care tasks Escort patients to activities and appointments on and facility grounds Complete necessary documentation and maintain patient records

Pay:
