Home Support Aide (HHA) Preferred Home Services Inc DBA Full Care Inc. Chester, NY 10918 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care in a home community setting. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure as needed. Help clients with mobility and transferring, ensuring safety during lifting and movement. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care provided in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement individualized care strategies for long-term care needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as necessary. Requirements Previous experience in home community care or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and ability to understand medical records. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper techniques.
