The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role requires a blend of personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities, ensuring that residents feel safe, respected, and cared for in their own environment. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide medication administration as per care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Support mobility by assisting with heavy lifting and transfers as needed. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Ensure the safety and comfort of clients by maintaining a clean and organized living space. Respect resident rights and promote independence while providing necessary support. Engage clients in social activities to enhance their emotional well-being and prevent isolation. Document care provided and any changes in client condition accurately. Experience Previous experience in senior care or home health settings is preferred. Familiarity with group home environments is a plus. Knowledge of care plans, medication administration, and resident rights is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy. A background in nursing or related healthcare fields is advantageous but not required.
