Caregiver/DSP Leann’s Loving Hands Home Care South Park, PA 15129 Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care in various settings, including assisted living facilities and nursing homes. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks aimed at promoting independence and well-being. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and safety of clients. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Assist with heavy lifting and mobility support for clients with physical limitations. Observe and report any changes in client behavior or condition to the appropriate personnel. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring client safety at all times. Collaborate with social workers and healthcare professionals to develop care plans tailored to individual needs. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as social work or nursing home care is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Ability to perform patient observation effectively, noting any significant changes in health status. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse populations.
