• Job Summary
• We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities in various settings such as group homes, assisted living facilities, and private residences.
• Responsibilities
• Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
• Monitor and document changes in clients’ health or behavior
• Implement care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for the individuals you support
• Skills
• Experience in caregiving, patient observation, and patient monitoring
• Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities or dementia
• Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and their families
