Elite Caregiver/Nurse Aide/Field Supervisor Liken Home Care Pittsburgh, PA About us – We are seeking an elite, compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care in their home and community, as well as take on the role of a field supervisor. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering both physical and emotional support in their daily activities. As an Elite Caregiver, you will introduce new caregivers to assignments and/or new clients, provide job shadowing and training and be available for on-call shifts. This position requires a commitment to patient well-being, dignity, and respect and also excellent communication skills, dependability and the desire to work a 40-hour week. Duties and Responsibilities – Offering companionship to patients Taking clients to their medical appointments, the grocery store and other important places Medication reminders Preparing meals when needed Providing care across a variety of settings, including group homes and day service programs Light housekeeping and doing laundry when needed Providing bathing and dressing assistance Keeping proper care records Encouraging socialization and participation in community activities Communicating with medical professionals about the patient care plan Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment Training new caregivers Covering call-offs and no-shows in an on-call manner Be willing to travel 25 mile radius of your house Skills and Qualifications – Must be able to provide : Photo ID & Social Security Card Physical (Past Year) Current 2-Step TB or Chest Xray or Blood TB Test (QGold) Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Act 34 Criminal Background Check First Aid/Current CPR Certification Current Automobile Insurance Card Training in any special areas of care you provide Letter of recommendation from a previous supervisor Qualifications 3 years of paid Caregiving experience Driver’s License & access to insured vehicle for every shift Benefits Weekly salary pay based on a 40-hour work week 5 PTO days per year Liken 401 (k) Life, Dental, Vision Insurance Periodic raises Periodic bonuses based on performance Ongoing training
