Entry level Full Job Description The Residence at Arrowood, Personal Care Home located in Pittsburgh, PA is searching for compassionate Personal Care Aides to join our team! A PCA is an employee who provides individualized care and services to the residents of the. In this position you develop an understanding of each client’s needs, preferences and interests while maintaining their independence, dignity and self-esteem. Full-Time Openings on 7am – 3pm and 3pm – 11pm Shifts ($1,500.00 sign on bonus) Part-Time Openings on 7am – 3pm and 3pm – 11pm Shifts ($750.00 sign on bonus)

Generous Sign-On Bonus! – $1,500 for Full Time and $750 for Part-Time Health,Dental, & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401K Retirement Plan Employee Recognition Awards Program Supportive and fun management team Job Duties & Responsibilities Provides personal care and services per each client’s individualized Plan of Care to assist in improvement and/or maintenance of the clients’ physical and mental status. Assists with all ADL activities. Assists with mobility and instructs clients as to the proper use of mobility aids. Fully participates in the service planning process, reviewing of daily notes. Responsible for observing any changes in clients’ status and reports them immediately to the supervisor. Adheres to facility safety standards and infection control manual and reports all potential resident/employee safety hazards to the Inn Administrator. Launders clients’ personal laundry when needed and ensures the safety of the clients’ personal possessions. Other duties as assigned within the scope of position expectations. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent is required Certified Nursing Assistant certification within state of PA required A minimum of one year working with the elderly is highly desirable Demonstrates ability to work with other people through a cooperative effort Position requires frequently lifting 25-50 lbs.
