Essential Functions:
Perform all duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude, demonstrates impeccable ethics and integrity. Helps the Residents get to and from activities, dining room or other locations as needed. Assists with or performs personal hygiene tasks – brush teeth, comb hair, shave, bathing, dressing, toileting, etc. Transfers, assists or lifts Residents from bed to chair, chair to commode, etc. as needed. Changes bed linens and towels per residence schedules and as needed. Launders Residents’ personal laundry per schedule. Loads and pushes clean and soiled laundry carts. Performs daily housekeeping in Residents’ rooms – straighten room, organize bedside tables and dressers, wipe spills, etc. Answers call lights promptly and responds to residents’ requests Serves Resident meals as needed. Reports any identified verbal or written changes in medical condition to supervisor. Measures and records temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, weight and height as instructed. Helps with scheduled activities and engaging residents to participate. Respects Residents’ rights, dignity and privacy The ideal candidate would be self-motivated and independent, and wanting to grow in their career. Must be 18 years of age or older, dependable, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize tasks, able to work independently and as a team, and must be okay with repetition and routine work in a fast-paced environment. The position requires punctuality, dependable transportation to and from work, and reliable attendance. Must pass background check, assessment, and drug test.
