As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by delivering personalized care and companionship. This position requires a commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide support with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure client safety. Monitor and record vital signs as required, ensuring any changes are communicated to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Assist in memory care activities for clients experiencing cognitive challenges. Collaborate with nursing home staff or group home personnel to deliver coordinated care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, following all health and safety protocols. Requirements Previous experience in senior care, social work, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs. Familiarity with memory care techniques and the ability to implement care plans effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required at the time of application.
