This role is vital in assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving and a passion for helping others, particularly those with developmental disabilities or memory care needs. Duties As a Home Health Aide, your responsibilities will include: Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with cooking as needed. Reminding clients to take medications according to prescribed schedules Supporting clients with memory care techniques to enhance cognitive function and daily living skills. Laundering clothing and linens to maintain a clean environment for clients. Maintaining accurate ADL documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality. Assisting clients with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying them to appointments or social activities. Engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being. Experience The successful candidate will possess: Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of memory care practices and techniques for working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and catheter care procedures is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
