Overnight Caregiver 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Spring City, PA 19475 Overnight Caregiver – 50 Hours/Week – Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday Nights (12.5‑Hour Shifts, Benefits Included) Homewatch CareGivers of Pottstown is recruiting to address a client that requires an overnight caregiver and invites mission‑driven professionals to steward the safety, comfort, and dignity of our clients while the rest of the world sleeps. Leveraging our innovative Homewatch Connect platform, you’ll have both in‑person and virtual tools that keep care seamless through the night. This opportunity delivers consistent 12.5‑hour shifts, approximately 7:30 p.m. – 8:00 a.m., every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night, totaling 50 paid hours per week (hours beyond 40 are paid at 1.5× the hourly rate per FLSA overtime standards), earn between $1300 to $1500 biweekly based on experience and credentials. Core Duties Reposition the client at least every two (2) hours to safeguard circulation and skin integrity. Promptly change soiled incontinence products and perform perineal hygiene using proper infection‑control technique. Monitor the home environment for safety risks (e.g., fall hazards, medication timing) and respond proactively. Document observations and interventions in real time via the Homewatch Connect app or paper notes, as directed. Provide a complete bed bath, oral care, and grooming routine before daybreak so the client begins the day refreshed and dignified. Deliver a concise written and verbal hand‑off to the incoming caregiver to preserve seamless continuity of care. Required Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others Able to safely lift and transfer up to 50 pounds independently. At least six (6) months of professional caregiving experience preferred; CNA or HHA certification welcomed but not required. Ability to pass Pennsylvania state and federal background checks and provide current tuberculosis clearance. Reliable overnight transportation and commitment to punctuality for all scheduled shifts. Strong communication skills and a demonstrated respect for client privacy and cultural preferences. High school diploma or GED. Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, current insurance, and reliable transportation. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Two professional or employment references attesting to caregiving aptitude.
