Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care and support in a personal care home. This position requires a commitment to resident observation and the ability to work effectively with older individuals. Duties Provide direct support to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist clients with mobility and physical tasks, including lifting when necessary. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to HIPAA regulations regarding privacy and confidentiality. Engage residents in social activities and promote their emotional well-being through companionship. Support residents in achieving their personal goals while fostering independence. Qualifications Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not mandatory. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to perform resident observation and accurately report any significant changes in client conditions. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams. Must be physically capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs. as needed and performing tasks that require standing for extended periods.
